We invite your children, ages 3 years old through High School, to participate in Church School each Sunday following Holy Communion and ending at 12 pm. We also offer a Parents and Tots class for children 2 years old and younger where parents can stay in the class with their children. The school year starts in September and ends in early June, with a few Sundays off to observe holidays and important events.
We will continue to build upon programs that embrace the teachings of Orthodox Christianity: Scripture, Holy Tradition, Worship, Hymnology and Discipleship. Curriculum is mostly based on the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America's Department of Religious Education and the Orthodox Christian Education Commission. The 2018-2019 school year's theme will focus on Galatians 5:22-23: "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control." As the students learn about these gifts, they will learn that God uses us as his instruments to show his love to others through caring actions and healthy attitudes. We are looking forward to a spiritually rewarding year and appreciate your faithfulness and continual support.
With Love, in Christ,
